Sam + Madi

I am lucky enough to have Sam and Madi as neighbors! When Madi initially reached out regarding engagement photos, I knew we would have a ball of a time creating imagery together. Madi and I collaborated to create the dreamiest engagement session. She pulled together the perfect picnic setup and made sure she and Sam had a couple of outfits so we would capture a combination of casual and classic shots.

Incorporating the picnic and bike was such a fun way to encourage natural movement and keep the focus between them vs them and the camera. I always recommend including an activity or an element unique to your love. Whether it’s your favorite activity, sport, drink, or dessert - bring it to the session!

Engagement photos are intended to capture this sweet sliver of time in between the proposal and the I do’s. Many of my couples also use these photos for their save-the-dates and wedding guest books!
